未表征的C19orf43被发现与hTR成熟有关。我们之前的工作表明,C19orf43可以切割不同类型的RNA,但不能切割DNA。然后我们将其命名为htr相互作用rna (hTRIR) (Uniprot: Q9BQ61)。hTRIR在很宽的温度和pH范围内工作,不需要任何二价阳离子。hTRIR在所有四个核苷酸位点切割RNA,但优先在嘌呤位点切割。此外,hTRIR酶切了甲基化小RNA的两端,这表明它是一种假定的核糖核酸酶。后来,我们设计了更多的核苷酸来甲基化小RNA,以确定它是外核酸酶和/或核糖核酸内酶。与RNase A不同,hTRIR可以消化甲基化RNA寡核苷酸5R5的两端,这表明它可能是一种核糖核酸内酶。
