Abstract
IVF was once only available to married heterosexual couples. This was
clearly discrimination against all other patients and today, IVF technology is made
available to anyone in need, including single women using donor sperm. This Chapter
reviews IVF from the point of view of LGBT patients and provides some insight and
advice to those patients who are either undergoing or considering this course of
treatment.
