He also hold appointment with the University of Atlanta, Georgia, USA as a Professor of Cardiovascular, Neuropathology, Gerontology, Health Science and Healthcare Administration and as a Leading Scientist, Institute of Physiologically Active Compounds. Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow Region, Chernogolovka, Russian Federation. He received his MD in 1982, from the Baku Medical University (former USSR) with cum laude and Ph.D. in Cardiovascular Diseases from the prestigious Russian Academy of the Medical Sciences, Moscow, Russia in 1988 with cum laude. He received postdoctoral training with Professor G. Burnstock in the University College of the London. He authored and coauthored more than 500 publications in the fields of neurodegenerative diseases research, cardio- and cerebrovascular disease, cancer, and electron microscopy.
Professor Yamada graduated from the Kindai University Faculty of Medicine and acquired physician qualification (M.D.) in 1981. Dr. Yamada obtained a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Immunology from the Kindai University, Osaka. He also studied in Cell Engineering Center(Prof.T.Kishimoto), Osaka University and Dep. of Dermatology I (Prof. K Wolff), Vienna University, NIAID NIH(Chief E. Shevach) in the US for Austria government exhibitioner. He is a dermatologist and an allergist. In 2007 Professor Yamada founded an anti-aging center at Kindai University. Dr. Yamada is Professor of Department of Dermatology, Nara Hospital, Kindai University and Vice-chairman of Anti -Aging Center, Kindai University. Now he is vice-chairman of the Society of Japanese Anti-Aging Medicine.
Masaki Mogi, M.D., Ph.D., graduated from Osaka University Medical School in 1994, and received Ph.D. from Osaka University in 2001. After following Postdoctoral Fellowship as a Research Fellow at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Tufts University, and the Department of Molecular Cardiology in Boston University in Boston (USA), he served as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Geriatric Medicine and Department of Molecular Cardiovascular Biology and Pharmacology in Ehime University Graduate School of Medicine from 2003 and 2004 respectively. he became an Associate Professor in the Department of Molecular Cardiovascular Biology and Pharmacology in Ehime University Graduate School of Medicine, Ehime, Japan since 2011.
Dr. Nakagami graduated from Nara Medical University in 1994 (M.D.). After resident (Cardiology, Jichi Medical School), research fellow (Geriatric Medicine, Osaka University), postdoc (Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School), or assistant professor (Gene Therapy Science, Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine), he is now Professor in Department of Health Development and Medicine, Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine. He has published more than 100 scientific publications in cardiovascular and life style related diseases. He has recently focused on the immunotherapy for hypertension, diabetes or other common diseases. Dr. Nakagami is currently the Associate Editor of this journal (Immunology, Endocrine & Metabolic Agents in Medicinal Chemistry, IEMAMC), published by Bentham Science Publishers.
Dr. Ramana obtained a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry form the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Research, Chandigarh, India. Currently, he is a Professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX, USA. The chief objectives of his investigations are to examine the involvement of cellular metabolism and oxidative stress signals in inflammation and to delineate the role of aldo-keto reductases and anti-oxidants in mediating the inflammatory pathways. He has published more than 100 peer reviewed articles. He is also serving as an editorial board member of several journals.
Dr. Rodriguez obtained a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (1990). Then, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health (1992-1993) He was appointed Assistant Professor (1997), and then Professor (2005) both at the Department of Organic Chemistry, Universidad de Buenos Aires. He has published more than 70 scientific publications and is a named inventor of 5 U.S. patents. His fields of interest are the design of antiparasitic and antiviral agents as well as total synthesis of compounds of pharmacological importance.
Domenico Bonamonte was born in Bari, Italy, on 2nd March 1970. Degree in Medicine and Surgery, Summa cum laude, awarded by Bari University, Italy, in 1996. Specialist Degree, Summa cum laude, in Dermatology and Venereology awarded by the University of Bari in 2001. PhD in “Allergological Sciences” awarded by the Dermatology Clinic of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy, in 2004. Since 1st January 2004, Research Fellow at the Dermatology Clinic of Bari University. Since 1st March 2013, Associate Professor of Dermatology and Venereology, Department of Biomedical Science and Human Oncology – Section of Dermatology, University of Bari.
Dr. Kuladip Jana, Ph.D. is presently serving as a Senior Scientist in the Division of Molecular Medicine and Scientist In-charge of the Centre for Translational Animal Research, Bose Institute, Kolkata, India. He was trained as a Post-doctoral Research Associate in Molecular Endocrinology and Reproduction in relation with Aging in Garrison Institute on Aging, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Centre, U.S.A. He is a Member in several National & International Scientific Societies and has many National & International Publications. He is serving as Editorial Board Member in several International reputed Journals. Dr. Jana has also received several International and National Young Scientist/Young Investigator awards.
Doctor Lauritano cares for researches in the oral medicine field, especially about systemic pharmacological protocols for mucocutaneous pathologies. She is also particularly concerned in the precocious oral diagnosis of systemic diseases. She has developed studies about oral stomatopirosis and related problems. Nowadays she is deal in research about biomolecular aspects of precancerous pathologies of oral mucosae, with focus on the role of MAPKinasi. Her researches have had Ministerial funding (COFIN 2005, 2006, 2007). She has developed studies on mucosal diseases in leukemic children, and she won the prize of Monza and Brianza Foundation in 2006: “Evaluation of an oral hygiene protocol in relation to the presence of the principal oral pathogens in pediatric leukemic patients: genome quantification during the antiblastic therapy through the use of the real time PCR”.
Dr. M. Balasubramanyam, PhD is at present Dean of Research Studies & Senior Scientist at the Madras Diabetes Research Foundation, Chennai, India. His current research interests include: Molecular medicine with special reference to diabetes and its vascular complications; mechanisms of accelerated ageing (senescence), role of biomarkers in health in disease; ER stress; telomere biology; the gut (microbiota) connection to diabetes, Omics advancements (transcriptomics/proteomics/epigenetics/miRNA/metabolomics); stem cell research; bio-prospecting molecular targets of herbal action and development of cell-based, high-throughput assays; Point-of-Care (POC) diagnositics. Dr.Balu’s team is one of the very strong groups working on Molecular Aspects of Metabolic Disorders.
Xiangwei Xiao, MD, PhD, is a tenure track Assistant Professor at the Department of Surgery of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Xiao obtained his M.D. at Tianjin Medical University, China and PhD at VRIJE Universiteit Brussel, Belgium. Dr. Xiao finished his residency at the 2nd Hospital of Tianjin Medical University, China. He has publications as first or corresponding author in many high impact journals, and has live US patents. Dr. Xiao’s research focuses on diabetes, beta cell biology, turn-over and functional protection, crosstalk between beta cells and other cell types and the molecular influence of one autoimmune disease upon another.
Dr. Valiante obtained the Ph.D. in Molecular Systematic from the University of Naples Federico II and Master school in Biotechnologies from University of Urbino-Fano, with experimental thesis in comparative endocrinology. Currently Dr. Valiante is assistant professor in the University of Naples Federico II. To date, he has published 67 scientific publications. Currently his research is focused on the enhanced drug delivery across the blood brain barrier to ameliorate the progression and the outcome of neurodegenerative diseases; and in vivo and in vitro effects of endocrine disruptors on endocrine homeostasis of vertebrates.
Hasan İlkova graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty in 1978. He continued his training there, during 1978-1982. He started his fellowship in 1985 at the Division of Diabetes and Metabolism and served a senior research fellow at the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at University of Michigan between 1987-1989. He worked as a visiting professor between 1996-1998 at the Joslin Diabetes Center He served as the General Secretary of the Turkish Diabetes Association between 1991-1995 and 1997-2000. He is presently a faculty member in the Division of Endocrinology Metabolism and Diabetes at İstanbul University Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty and he is serving as the president of Turkish Diabetes Association.
Dr. Kaushal Kishor Prasad is Professor and Chief of the Division of Gastrointestinal Histopathology in the Department of Superspeciality of Gastroenterology at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), India. He is in the panels of experts for the World Association of Societies of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine (WASPaLM) and SAARC Academy of Cytopatology & Histopathology (SACH). His research interests include celiac disease, microscopic colitis, extrahepatic portal vein obstruction and inflammatory bowel disease. He has received 29 awards in international and national scientific forums. Dr. Prasad has authored 90 papers and has contributed in 15 book chapter/books in the field of Gastroenterology.
Dr. Metin Kılınç started compulsory Service as a general practitioner from 1986 to 1988 than started Biochemistry residency in Erciyes University, Medical Faculty, Dept.of Biochemistry in 1988 and completed in 1992. He completed military duty in 1992 and worked as a Biochemistry specialist in Silifke and Mersin State Hospital from 1992-1998. He started as Assist. Prof. and head of Dept of Biochemistry in Kahramanmaras Sütcüimam Univ.Medical School in 1998 and became an associate professor in 2006 and professor in 2012. Currently he is working as professor (Head of Medical Biochemist Dept.) His researches are Genetics [(Especially molecular research of Familial Mediterranean diseases (FMF)], oxidative stress, hemoglobinopathy and trace elements in various diseases.
Prof. Josep M. Argiles was born in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain in 1956 and completed his undergraduate studies in Biology at the University of Barcelona graduating with a First Class Honours Degree and Special Prize for the best B.Sc. (1979). In 1981 he received his Doctorate in Biochemistry from the same university with Cum Laude obtaining the Prize for the best doctorate of that year. He later became Full Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of Cancer at the Faculty of Biology, University of Barcelona being the leader of a research group interested in cancer cachexia. Prof. Argiles has authored and co-authored over 350 publications.
Claudio Tana, MD, is specialist in internal medicine and works at University Hospital of Parma, Parma, Italy. Since 2014 he has been national coordinator of the Young Ultrasound Area for the Italian Federation of Hospital Internists (FADOI). He has over 100 publications as full length papers in international journals, congress abstracts and book chapters. He is reviewer, member of the editorial board, guest and associate editor for several international journals. His interest areas include cardiovascular and metabolic risk, ultrasound in internal medicine, research in aging and rare disorders.
Dr. Broderick is Professor of Physiology at the Arizona College of Medicine in Glendale, Arizona, USA. His scientific interests focus on the role of exercise training on glucose metabolism and carnitine metabolism in experimental models of diabetes. His work also focuses on the effects of nutrition and drug treatment on liver, skeletal and cardiac muscle, and CNS function in obesity, diabetes and Alzheimer’s Disease. He has over 90 peer-reviewed publications and has served on study sessions for the American Heart and Diabetes Associations, and currently for the Diabetes, Action, Research and Education Foundation. Dr. Broderickobtained his doctorate degree from the University of Alberta, in Edmonton, a master’s in endocrinology from L’Université Laval, and an undergraduate degree in kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton, Canada.
Salvatore Giovanni Vitale M.D. was born in Catania (Italy) on August 30th, 1984. During his university career he was trained in particular in histology and embryology, microbiology, clinical pharmacology, general surgery and finally in obstetrics and gynecology. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery in July 2009 at the University of Catania. In June 2015, he specialised in gynecology and obstetrics with honours. He is the author of over 150 scientific publications in national and international journals. He is a reviewer for many international journals and also member of the Editorial Board of several scientific journals.
Fumihiro Sanada is associate professor of the Department of Clinical Gene Therapy at Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine, Japan, where he has been since 2006. From 2009 to 2014 he was a research fellow of Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. He received an M.D. from Niigata University School of Medicine, Japan, in 2001, and a PhD from Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine, Japan in 2012. His research interests span both heart failure and atherosclerosis. Much of his work has been on improving the understanding of the pathology of heart failure.

Currently, Dr. Kuo is a professor in Department of Physiology, Chung Shan Medical University. His field of expertise include Neuroendocrinology; Body weight control; appetite control; Neurotoxicology; Stress and signal transduction in the brain; Cerebral molecular mechanism in amphetamine-induced anorexia; Behavioral response of Diabetes Mellitus animals.
Alessandro Antonelli (Associate Professor of Internal Medicine, MD) is now Director of the Immuno-Endocrine Section of Internal Medicine at the University of Pisa. His principal areas of expertise are autoimmune thyroid disorders, type 1 diabetes, systemic autoimmune disorders, chemokines and cytokines, HCV-associated thyroid disorders and thyroid cancer. Prof. Dr. Dede, obtained veterinary medical degree and a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry from Yuzuncu Yil University, Van, Turkey. Currently Prof. Dr. Dede is also a Tenured Professor in Yuzuncu Yil University Veterinary Medical Faculty. Song-Yu Yang (M.D., Ph.D.) graduated from Beijing Medical University in 1960, and received Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the City University of New York in 1984. He served as an Assistant Professor at Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Chinese Academy of Science 1975-1980. Following Postdoctoral Fellowship in the City College of New York, he served as the Research Scientist at New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities in 1988. He became Head of the Medical Biochemistry Laboratory at the New York State Institute for Basic Research in Developmental Disabilities since 1994. He served as an Adjunct Professor at Ph.D. Program in Biology-Neuroscience, the Graduate Center of the City University of New York since 2007.
Prof.Das is Professor of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, BLDE University, India. He obtained his PhD (Physiology) from University of Calcutta, India. His research extended to phytochemistry and metal toxicity on vascular pathophysiology. He did his extensive works on various synthetic analogues of bioactive compounds extracted from indigenous plants. Dr. Ahmed RG received his Ph.D. in Developmental Biology (Developmental endocrinology, Toxicology, Neurobiology and Biochemistry) from Beni-Suef University, Egypt and received research training (postdoctoral fellowship) as a visiting scholar at the Katholic University, Belgium. He has outstanding records of scientific and academic accomplishments with multiple research funding, numerous publications (books/papers) in highly prestigious journals and various presentations in both national and international conferences. Giuseppe Currò was nominated a permanent professorship at Faculty of Medicine where he initiated a laboratory of experimental surgery. Over the last 10 years, he has focused his scientific interests on the topics related to hepato-biliary-pancreatic and metabolic disorders including cancer diseases. With his expertise in hepato-biliary-pancreatic and bariatric surgery research, he has established a series of platforms for clinical evaluation of therapeutics in liver/pancreas tumors and obesity with its comorbidities, published numerous SCI journal papers, edited/reviewed for many academic journals, worked as a guest professor in many universities and institutes.
The significant contribution of Professor Maitra lies in understanding the structural complexity and functional diversity of pineal gland in different vertebrate groups as well as in demonstrating extra-pineal sources of endogenous melatonin and its physiological role, especially in photoperiodic regulation of seasonal reproduction, in fish. His research discovered regulatory mechanisms of photoreceptor proteins and melatonin rhythm generating system in fish pineal. Novelty of his research also includes localization of melatonin receptors on the fish ovary. Eventually, his research provided the first evidence of extra-hypothalamic actions of melatonin on the maturation of oocytes in any fish.
Premendu P. Mathur, Ph.D. is the Vice-Chancellor, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, India. He is Fellow of National Academy of Medical Sciences (India)and received Ph.D. from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. Professor Jerzy Beltowski obtained a doctorate (Ph.D) in medicine from the Medical University, Lublin, Poland. Professor Beltowski is the full professor in the Department of Pathophysiology of the Medical University, Lublin, Poland. Paul J. Davis is Professor of Medicine at Albany Medical College (Albany, NY) and Adjunct Professor of Pharmacy at the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. He is former Chair of the Department of Medicine at Albany Medical College. His medical training was obtained at Harvard Medical School, Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He is a Past President of the American Thyroid Association, a former Director of the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a Master and former Governor of the American College of Physicians. He has co-authored more than 250 scientific publications. Dr. Davis is Thyroid Section Editor of the Comprehensive Physiology project (American Physiological Society) and co-editor of recent angiogenesis textbooks.
Dr. Foster is a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, McMaster University and voluntary Clinical Professor in the Department of Reproductive Medicine, University of California, San Diego. Paolo Magni received a degree in Medicine and a post-doctoral degree in Endocrinology at the Universita' degli Studi di Pavia (Italy) and a PhD degree in endocrinology and metabolism at the Universita' degli Studi di Milano (Italy). He is professor of pathology at the Universita' degli Studi di Milano (Italy). His research domains includethemolecular pathophysiology of metabolic diseases (obesity, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, dyslipidemia, atherosclerosis) and the nutritional/nutraceutical modulation of cardiometabolic risk, aging and health-related issues. He is conducting both experimental and clinical research. He is the author or co-author of over 85 scientific papers in peer-reviewed international journals.

Currently, Dr. Marino is Full professor of Physiology in the Department of Science, university Roma Tre, Roma, Italy. Dr. Noma (M.D., Ph.D.) obtained a doctorate (Ph.D.) in medicine from Hiroshima University, Hiroshima, Japan. Dr. V. Prakash Reddy is Professor of Chemistry at the Missouri University of Science and Technology. He is an internationally recognized scientist, scholar, and teacher, and was an honorary member of the Golden Key National Honor Society at Case Western Reserve University and a NASA Faculty Fellow at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology. He is in the Editorial Board of over five international journals, and has published over 90 peer reviewed articles and a book (Elsevier). His research is focused on the interdisciplinary areas in synthetic organic, materials, and bioorganic and medicinal chemistry.
Dr. Sanada obtained a doctorate in Cardiology from Osaka University and is an Associate Professor in Department of Medical Innovation, Osaka University Hospital. His professional career is dedicated to understanding cardiac functional or ischemic disorders and developing novel treatments. He has published more than 100 scientific publications．His continuous and outstanding contributions resulted in receiving many YIAs and other awards including JHF Research Award and Cardiology Research Award, JVDRF Okamoto Research Award, Osaka University President Encouragement Award as well as the Best Reviewers of the Year Award from JCS in 8 consecutive years from 2008.

Dr. Shinmura specializes in Cardiology and Geriatric Medicine. Currently Dr. Shinmura is a Professor and Chairman in Department of General Medicine, Hyogo College of Medicine, Nishinomiya, Japan.
Professor Dmitri Sviridov obtained a medical degree (MD) from Moscow Medical University and a doctorate (PhD) from the National Cardiology Research Centre before moving to Australia in 1992. Dmitri Sviridov is the Head of the Laboratory of Lipoproteins and Atherosclerosis at the Baker IDI Heart and Diabetes Institute. He has Professorial appointments in the Monash University, the University of Western Australia, Curtin University, University of New South Wales and George Washington University. Dmitri Sviridov is an author of 178 papers and a co-inventor in 7 international patents. He is a Fellow of the American Heart Association.
Sho-ichi Yamagishi, MD, PhD is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Pathophysiology and Therapeutics of Diabetic Vascular Complications, Kurume University School of Medicine, Japan. He has received PhD from Kanazawa University, Japan, in 1993. He received Angiogenesis Stem Cell Award from AHA in 2003, Distinguished Investigator Award from Japan Diabetes Society in 2005 and Research Award from Japanese Society of Anti-Aging Medicine in 2012. He is serving as an editorial board member of reputed journals and published more than 500 research papers, including Nature, JCI, JACC, JASN, Diabetes, Diabetes Care, and FASEB J. His research interest lies in Diabetes, Cardiology, Aging, Glycation and Oxidative Stress.
My research area is the translation research of gastro and gastrointestinal diseases, mainly focused on the role of H. pylori in association with host and different environmental factors to induce gastric inflammation leading to gastric cancer. For the past few years, I have studied the blood sugar antigens LeY, LeX, sLeX and it’s synthesize fucosylated enzymes (FUTs) enzymes in gastric inflammation leading to gastric cancer. I am trying to understand how the H. pylori association with different environmental factors initiates and persistence of gastric inflammation which leads to carcinogenesis. Moreover, I attempt to apply the imminent gained for discovering improved therapy against persistence inflammation by utilizing dietary anti-inflammatory agents.
