Dr. Tiziana Guzzo is a researcher at the National Research Council of Italy. She obtained a PhD in Theory and Social Research in 2008 from the University "La Sapienza" of Rome. From 2005 to 2008, she was a lecturer of Sociology and Sociology of Cultural and Communicative Processes at tthe University of Catanzaro (Italy). She has participated in several national and international projects. She is involved in numerous editorial activities. She has been the guest editor of various special issues in international journals; she is a member of the programming committee of international conferences and workshops. Her main research interests are Social Informatics, Social Media and Social Networks, Internet Addiction, Technology Acceptance, Online Education, Communication.
Dr. Giulia Andrighetto is a researcher at the Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies of the National Research Council of Italy in Rome, where she is the coordinator of the Laboratory of Agent Based Social Simulation (LABSS). She is also a researcher at Mälardalen University, Västerås, Sweden and at the Institute for Future Studies, Stockholm, Sweden. Her research focuses on the emergence, enforcement, change and decay of social norms and their effects on cooperation and conflicts. Her research topics include cooperation, altruism, honesty, as well as bad norms and misinformation. She uses theoretical and computational models, combined with on-line and laboratory experiments, surveys and big data to answer these and related questions about social norms.
Xiao Huang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geosciences at the University of Arkansas. His research primarily focuses on social media analysis, geospatial analysis, geovisualization, environmental modeling, computer and data science, and Big Data analytics. Dr. Huang has authored/co-authored about 120 peer-reviewed publications. He serves as a reviewer for 43 international/national journals.
Svetlana Sharonova Alekseevna obtained the degree of Doctor of sociological sciences in 2005. She worked as an associate professor of sociology in 2002. Since 2019, she has been working as professor in the Department of Advertising and Business, Communications Economic Faculty, RUDN University, Moscow, Russia. From 2017 – 2019, she worked as the Deputy Director for Scientific Work at the Institute of Foreign Languages of Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, and professor in the Department of Advertising and Business Communications. For more than 27 years, she has worked at different universities of the Russian Federation. She became the Federal Expert of professional education quality of Experts Guild in the sphere of professional education, and Vice-president of RS-04 Sociology of education ISA 2014-2018, 2019-2022. She is a member of a number of societies, such as member RS-22 Sociology of religion ISA, member ESA RN Social Theory Research Network, member SSIR/ISSR, and member Russian society of sociologists. She has more than 140 contents including 6 monographs, 4 textbooks to her credit.
