Dr. Marco Colizzi is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Udine, Italy. He qualified in Medicine from the University of Bari, Italy, in 2009. He completed his residency in Psychiatry, from the University of Bari, in 2015. He received a PhD in Neuroscience from the King's College London, United Kingdom, in 2018, where he then became a Clinical Research Fellow and, after returning to Italy, a Visiting Researcher. Between 2019 and 2021, he worked as Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Verona, Italy, and, became Assistant Professor at the University of Udine in 2021. Dr. Colizzi's research focuses on the neuropsychopharmacology and neurocognitive function of psychosis and neurodevelopmental conditions, with a focus on prevention and early intervention strategies in mental health. He has published a significant number of scientific articles in refereed international journals. He has received several awards and recognition by a number of prestigious national and international institutions.

Professor Matteo Balestrieri is the Head of the Psychiatry Clinic at the University of Udine and Director of the Residency Program in Psychiatry at the University Department of Medicine in Udine. Since 2002 he has been the Coordinator of the Degree Course in Professional Psychoeducation at the University of Udine. During his career, he devoted himself to the study of the functioning of psychiatric services and the interactions between psychiatric disorders and physical illnesses in hospital and community settings, with research in various areas of consultation psychiatry, psychopharmacology and the psychosocial components of mental health. He has a special interest in the representation of mental processes and psychiatric illnesses at the cinema. He is currently president of the Italian Society of Neuropsychopharmacology and vice-president of the Italian Society of Psychiatry.

Dr. Gianfranco Di Gennaro is a specialist in Epidemiology and Medical Statistics. He currently works as a researcher at the Magna Graecia University of Catanzaro, Italy. His interests ranged from observational studies in Public Health (e.g. HPV screening and antibiotic resistance), to psychosomatic implications in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), to statistics applied to the molecular biology of cancer.

Prof. Antonio Lasalvia (MD, PhD) is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry in the Department of Neuroscience, Biomedicine and Movement Sciences, University of Verona (Italy). He works as Honorary Consultant Psychiatrist at the Psychiatric Unit, Verona University Hospital Trust. He also coordinates clinical activities of the South-Verona Community Mental Health Center. His main fields of interest include epidemiological and social psychiatry, mental health service evaluation, assessment of outcome of psychiatric disorders, first-episode psychoses, research on stigma and discrimination, research on the psychological impact of COVID-19 pandemic on healthcare professionals and other vulnerable populations. With this latter regard, Prof. Lasalvia participated as PI in a number EU funded multisite research projects. He is Associated Editor of Epidemiology and Psychiatric Sciences and has served as reviewer for several international psychiatric journals. Prof. Lasalvia has presented at several national and international meetings and has been invited to deliver teaching modules nationally and internationally. He is currently the president of the Veneto Section of the Italian Psychiatric Society and treasurer of the International Federation of Psychiatric Epidemiology (IFPE). His research activity has so far resulted in more than 250 papers published on national and international peer reviewed journals; papers published on peer-reviewed journals have been cited 3521 times in the international literature (Citation Index) according to ISI Web of Science (h-index = 33); 4147 times according to SCOPUS (h-index = 38); and 7078 times according to Google Scholar (h-index = 45).

Fabio Lugoboni is a Medical doctor, an Internist and a Director of the Addiction Unit at the University Hospital, Verona, Italy. He is an Adjunct Professor at the Psychiatry School, University of Verona. His research areas are Substance Use Disorders and comorbidities, Safety, adherence and efficacy of hepatitis vaccines among drug users, Nicotine dependence and drug treatment, Benzodiazepines: epidemiology of abuse and treatment. He is a scientific referee of the Swiss National Science Foundation, former consultant of the European Advisory Board on varenicline. He is an advisory member of the Italian Board on Opioid Induced Constipation. He is the President of 20 national conventions, author of several books and more than 100 articles on PubMed.

Dr. Grazia Rutigliano is a clinician scientist supported by the European Union's Horizon 2020 program under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant and based at Imperial College London. Her current work focuses on translational psychiatry and psychopharmacology. She investigates novel antipsychotic drugs using animal models and neuroimaging in Humans. Dr. Rutigliano graduated from Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies as Doctor of Medicine and PhD in Translational Medicine. She got training as a Psychiatrist from the University of Pisa. Her publication features articles based on the clinical high-risk state for psychosis and trace amine-associated receptors.

Prof. Lucia Sideli is an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology at LUMSA University, Rome. Prof. Sideli graduated in Psychology from the University in Palermo, Italy, and in Psychiatric Research at King's College London, UK, and received PhD in Neuroscience of Behavioral disorders from University of Palermo. Pro. Sideli has been an Assistant Professor at the University of Cagliari, and a visiting researcher at IOPPN, King's College London, UK. Prof. Sideli's research is focused on psychotic disorders, childhood adversities, and substance misuse. Prof. Sideli is particularly interested in psychological mechanisms, such as emotion dysregulation and dissociation, linking childhood maltreatment to psychopathological outcomes.

Dr. Antonella Trotta is Senior Lecturer in Health and Social Care (Clinical Psychology) School of Health and Social Care, University of Essex. She is a trained Clinical Psychologist and completed a research doctorate at King's College London on the interaction between genetic vulnerabilities and childhood adversities in first episode psychosis. For post-doctoral fellowships, she investigated the developmental risk factors for adult psychopathology using a longitudinal twin cohort study. Her clinical and research interests focus on psychological mechanisms, such as affective regulation and cognition, through which childhood adversity contributes to the onset and outcomes of severe mental illnesses, with the aim to develop effective psychological treatment for young adults. She is currently a Senior Lecturer at University of Essex and supervises research projects focusing on the impact of psychosocial factors on physical and mental health development across the lifespan.

Dr. Antonio Ventriglio, MD, PhD is a Psychiatrist and Psychotherapist at "Riuniti" Hospital in Foggia, Italy, as well as Researcher and Professor of Psychopharmacology and Social Psychiatry at School of Psychiatry in Foggia, Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine, University of Foggia. He has been a Research Fellow in the Department of Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder, Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, USA; completed two PhD programmes on medical, clinical, and experimental sciences at University of Foggia. He is currently member of Italian Society of Psychiatry, Italian Society for Social Psychiatry, and honorary member of World Psychiatry Association. Dr. Ventriglio is editor for letters for International Journal of Social Psychiatry and is in the editorial board of International Review of Psychiatry, Current Drug Research Review, and Frontiers in Psychiatry e Neurosciences. Dr. Antonio is also an editor of books for the Oxford University Press and Springer Nature.
