眼睛是一个复杂的器官,由几个腔室组成,这些腔室具有独特和特殊的特性,反映了它们不同的功能。虽然眼病的流行率在增加,主要是因为其与年龄的相关性和普遍生活方式的改变,但许多常见眼病的致病分子机制仍不清楚。因此,对眼病的发病机制、诊断和治疗进行深入研究,以保持眼部健康,降低视力损害及失明的发生率,是目前尚未满足的需求。蛋白质组学分析是一种有价值的工具,用于解释与特定眼部条件相关的蛋白质剖面。反过来,这样的概况可以导致在眼科学和眼科领域的真正突破。在蛋白质组学技术中,蛋白质微阵列技术因使用极少量的样本提供扩展的信息而脱颖而出。在这篇综述中,我们简要介绍了蛋白质微阵列的主要类型及其在鉴别慢性眼病如干眼病、青光眼、老年性黄斑变性或糖尿病性视网膜病变中的应用。这些特定蛋白改变的验证可以提供新的生物标记,揭示眼病的途径,并帮助诊断和开发新的眼病治疗方法。
