癌症日益被认为是死亡的主要原因之一,并已成为一个多方面的全球健康问题。在过去的十年里,现代医学在癌症的诊断和治疗方面取得了重大进展。传统癌症治疗的不良副作用、疗效不足和多药耐药使得迫切需要新的抗癌治疗方法或低细胞毒性和耐药的治疗方法。制药集团已经认识到肽治疗剂在解决未满足的医疗保健需求方面所起的关键作用,以及它们如何成为生物疗法和小分子疗法的良好补充甚至更好的替代品。抗癌肽作为一种充满活力的治疗多种癌细胞的策略,由于其高特异性和选择性、低毒性以及靶向传统“不可药物”蛋白质表面的能力,已显示出令人难以置信的抗癌潜力。本文综述了抗癌肽的研究进展,重点介绍了抗癌肽的发现、修饰、优化和临床应用。
